BREAKFAST THAT’S GOOD FOR THE PLANET

At Blue Frog we’re continuously looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint. We know we have an incredible opportunity and responsibility to make Blue Frog as sustainable as possible. Follow us on our journey as we work to continuously improve our business and create a positive impact for our environment and community. Because breakfast tastes better when it’s helping the planet too.

ENVIRONMENT

We have a massive target to have Zero Waste to Landfill by 2025. A bold statement to make we know, but we see it as part of our duty in caring for our planet. Keep up to date as we progress on this part of our sustainability journey.

All of our bags are made from 44% recycled plastic. It's not perfect, but we're continually looking for ways we can improve, and this is us working towards that. We are closely working with our packaging company to ensure we are right on the heels of any developments, and how we can incorporate this into our packaging.

Certified B Corporations meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. It's a global community of people using business as a force for good. Creating change starts with individuals and that starts with the choices you make every day, right down to what you eat. So this is us showing our commitment to you, to our local community and to our environment for years to come.

The actions we take and the things we buy create carbon emissions. Offsetting is a simple way of balancing out the carbon we produce, by supporting projects that reduce it.

All of our packaging is 100% soft plastic recyclable! We're continuously looking for ways to improve our packaging which is why we've joined the soft plastics recycling committee in NZ. Once you've finished your Blue Frog, drop it at your nearest soft plastic collection point.

We have partnered with Wellington City Mission to stock their Social Supermarket shelves with our Blue Frog cereal. They do an amazing job providing food to those in need and we are so excited to be a part of this.

Everyone deserves the chance to have the opportunity to participate equally, no matter what. By partnering with Be. Accessible, we're creating a world where everyone, whatever their accessibility need, is celebrated. Because we're all about possibility, not limitation, innovation over the status quo.

Rather than throwing our not so pretty cereal to landfill, we send it to Kiwi Harvest, where they send it to those in need. Reducing food waste, and providing food security all in one.

We highly value every single one of our workers, which is why we are proud to be living wage accredited. Just one step towards helping reduce poverty in New Zealand.
